Ingredients:
1 T vegetable oil
1 lb. chicken breast, cubed
1 ¾ c. water
1 c. milk or cream
1 envelope (1.2 oz) chicken gravy mix
¾ tsp. dried marjoram
½ tsp. salt
1 package (16 ounces) frozen peas and carrots
1 2/3 c. Bisquick
½ c. milk
Instructions:
- Heat oil in Dutch oven over medium heat. Cook chicken in oil, stirring frequently, until golden brown.
- Stir in water, milk, gravy mix, marjoram, salt and vegetables. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to a simmer.
- Mix baking mix and milk until soft dough forms. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto chicken mixture (do not drop directly into liquid).
- Cook uncovered for 10 minutes, then cover and cook for another 15 minutes
