Yield: 5-6 slices

Ingredients:
2 c. bread flour
1 tsp. salt
1 ½ tsp. sugar
1 T. cold butter
¾ c. + 2T. cold milk
1 tsp. yeast
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, whisk flour, salt and sugar to blend.
- Confirm the bread pan is firmly seated in the bread machine.
- Cut the butter into several pieces.
- Add the milk and butter to the bread machine.
- Add the flour mix. Do not stir.
- Put the yeast on top the flour mix. Do not stir.
- Set the bread machine to setting 1.
- Come back in 4 hours, 10 minutes.
- Let bread cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
- Slice and enjoy.
For herb bread, add 1 tsp. each rosemary, oregano and basil with the flour.
