{"id":48,"date":"2022-05-03T21:19:51","date_gmt":"2022-05-03T21:19:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/deathstyle.org\/?p=48"},"modified":"2022-05-03T21:19:51","modified_gmt":"2022-05-03T21:19:51","slug":"structurally-sound-lasagna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deathstyle.org\/?p=48","title":{"rendered":"Structurally Sound Lasagna"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Yield:&nbsp;&nbsp; 8 servings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Active Time:&nbsp; 30 mins&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Total Time:&nbsp;&nbsp; 90 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 jars marinara sauce<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 T oregano<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 T basil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 T rosemary<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 pound ground beef or Italian sausage<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2\/3 c. white wine<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 c shredded mozzarella<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9 lasagna noodles<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9 oz. ricotta<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instructions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>In a large pot, combine both jars of sauce, oregano and basil.&nbsp; Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce heat to low and stir constantly for 5 minutes.<\/li><li>Cook lasagna per package instructions.<\/li><li>Brown ground beef.&nbsp; Add half the wine and stir, simmer until wine is absorbed.&nbsp; Add remaining wine and stir and simmer again.<\/li><li>In 9\u201d square pan, add one ladle of sauce.&nbsp; Spread to cover bottom of pan in an even layer.<\/li><li>Add 3 lasagna noodles, cutting to fit.<\/li><li>Add beef to remaining sauce and stir.<\/li><li>Cover noodles with sauce.<\/li><li>Dot sauce with 1\/3 of the&nbsp; ricotta, in half teasponfuls.&nbsp; Top with 1\/3 of the mozzarella.<\/li><li>Add a layer of noodles, cross-wise to first layer.&nbsp; Top with sauce and cheese, and repeat.<\/li><li>Bake at 350\u00b0F for 30-50 minutes, until the center is warm.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Notes:&nbsp; Also handy to make in two loaf pans, freezing one for later.&nbsp; It\u2019s convenient to use the left-over ricotta for manicotti<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: Tiffani\u2019s own recipe<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In it for the meat, not the pasta.
