{"id":118,"date":"2024-07-14T20:07:43","date_gmt":"2024-07-14T20:07:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/deathstyle.org\/?p=118"},"modified":"2024-07-14T20:07:43","modified_gmt":"2024-07-14T20:07:43","slug":"chicken-marsala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deathstyle.org\/?p=118","title":{"rendered":"Chicken Marsala"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Active Time: 45 minutes&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Total Time:&nbsp; 45 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 boneless chicken breasts<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bd tsp. salt<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00bd tsp. pepper<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/3 c. + 1 T. flour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3 T. avocado oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5 T. + 1 T. butter<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6 oz. sliced mushrooms<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 T. finely chopped yellow onion<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 clove garlic, minced<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/3 c. marsala cooking wine<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/3 c. chicken stock<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instructions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Using the flat side of a meat tenderizer, pound the chicken breasts to an even \u00bc\u201d thickness.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a wide, shallow bowl, 1\/\/3 cup flour, salt and pepper.\u00a0 Dredge the chicken to coat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a large saut\u00e9 pan, melt 5 T. butter over medium heat.\u00a0 Add avocado oil and raise the heat to medium-high.\u00a0 When the butter begins to bubble, add the chicken.\u00a0 Cook each side until brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.\u00a0 Move chicken to a plate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add 1 T. butter to the pan and reduce heat to medium.\u00a0 Add the mushrooms and stir for 2-3 minutes.\u00a0 Add the garlic and onion and cook until soft, 1-2 minutes.\u00a0 Stir in 1 T. flour and cook for 1 minute.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add marsala and stock and stir well until liquid is heated.\u00a0 Add the chicken and cook for another 3-4 minutes, turning to coat chicken with sauce.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve over hot penne noodles with plenty of sauce.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So many restaurants get this one wrong.
