{"id":114,"date":"2024-05-09T21:14:05","date_gmt":"2024-05-09T21:14:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/deathstyle.org\/?p=114"},"modified":"2024-05-09T21:14:05","modified_gmt":"2024-05-09T21:14:05","slug":"creamy-pork-chops","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deathstyle.org\/?p=114","title":{"rendered":"Creamy Pork Chops"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Yield: 2 servings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Active Time: 15 minutes&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Total Time: 15 minutes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ingredients:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 (1-inch-thick) pork chops<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 1\/2 tsp. kosher salt, divided<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1\/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 cloves garlic<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 T. finely chopped fresh rosemary leaves<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 T. extra-virgin olive oil<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8 oz. cremini mushrooms (optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 c. cream<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instructions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Season pork chops with 1 teaspoon kosher salt and 1\/2 teaspoon black pepper.\u00a0 Let it set for 10 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finely chop 2 cloves garlic and 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves and place in a small bowl. Thinly slice 8 ounces cremini mushrooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the pork chops, working in batches if needed, and sear until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If using mushrooms, add the mushrooms to the pan with the remaining 1\/2 teaspoon kosher salt and saut\u00e9 until browned, about 6 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the garlic and rosemary to the pan and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Whisk in 1 cup cream, and return the pork and any accumulated juices to the pan. Bring to a simmer and cook until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145\u00b0F, 3 to 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Easy weeknight dinner.
