Peach Iced Tea

Yield:  1 gallon

Active time:  15 minutes     Total time:  15 minutes

Ingredients:

                12 regular sized peach tea bags

                4 c. water

                1 c. sugar

               ¼ tsp. baking soda

               1 11.5 oz. can peach nectar

               1 lemon

               6 c. ice water

               1 bottle Moscato or other sweet wine

Instructions:

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.  Remove from heat and add tea bags.
  2. Let tea steep for about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags and add sugar to hot water, stir until dissolved.
  4. Stir in baking soda and peach nectar, then add lemon juice.
  5. Pour into gallon pitcher and stir in 5 cups of ice water and bottle of wine.
  6. Serve over ice, with fresh peaches sliced for garnish.

Note: Can use peach schnapps or peach rum instead of wine for more peachiness.
